High Demand at the Firmenkontaktmesse (Career Fair) 2023 - Record Number of Visitors
The 2nd edition of the Firmenkontaktmesse (OVGU Career Fair) at FestungMark was a huge success!
Over 1,200 visitors, mostly from the University of Magdeburg, flocked to FestungMark to explore career opportunities and learn about their prospects in the job market.
After the event was kicked off by OVGU's Rector, Prof. Dr. Jens Strackeljan, the fair was buzzing from 10 AM to 4 PM. Visitors had the chance to connect with representatives from 82 companies, both national and international, including many based in Saxony-Anhalt.
The event featured an engaging lecture series, the "hierbleiben.Talk," where regional companies and local professionals shared their experiences and insights. With over 500 job listings, there was plenty for attendees to explore.
Many visitors also tried their luck at the various giveaways, with exciting prizes like tickets to this year's Halloween Party at FestungMark up for grabs.
